The SPM Season

I can't go online whenever i like or want. I can't talk as loud as i want. I can't talk too much. I gotta be as quiet as a church mouse. I am having SPM NOT!! Due to the SPM season which is on-going right now at this moment, I have a SPM candidate staying with me under the same roof. Who else but my 17-year old brother - Jen.

I'm trying my best to stay offline, as staying online can somehow distract my brother from his SPM books. I dunno in what way though...but one thing i'm certain of is that he's a 100% DOTA freak or addict or whatever you call it.

Besides that, i'm also trying my very best to talk less. The lesser the better. Seems like i'm creating most of the noise at home. Sigh... and in a way, my talking is distracting my brother as well. So yeah... just shut my mouth up.

*whining*

Anyway. Thank God there's still the idiot box for me to enjoy. Idiot box as in T.V.. But still, the volume must be very soft. Very soft till i can't really figure out what are the people talking on TV and gotta go to a certain extent of reading their lips. Sounds pathetic i know. But what to do? It's the SPM season. ARGH.

Anyhow, here's two things that i'm currently hooked onto... (on TV that is)

Number One:

I'm currently hooked onto The Ellen Degeneres Show. It's so funny that i would laugh my ass off everytime. Super duper entertaining. For bored and rotten people like me. Heh. But seriously, she's smart and witty. And I love her sense of humour. Heeee. My sis told me that she's a lesbian.

Number Two:

Tyra rawks! Yes, she's the oh-so-famous retired supermodel yet still oh-so-gorgeous Tyra Banks. =) Currently hooked onto The Tyra Banks Show, her own talk show. Damn cool. Just finished watching the lastest season of America's Next Top Model last Monday. It rawked as well. Tyra has a great sense of humour as well.

I love talkshows. GOOD ones i mean. Like The Ellen Degeneres Show and The Tyra Banks Show. And of course, not to forget, The Opra Winfrey show. Intelligent people we're talking about. Anyway, I hope to have my very own talkshow in future... *starting to daydream* And i'm still thinking of the title for my show. Hmm. Any suggestions? I have a few though...

1. The One and Only Yina Show? (sounds elaborated)

2. The Yina Show? (sounds short, well, my name is short anyway)

3. The Lim Yina Show? (sounds too formal)

4. Everyone Loves Yina? (sounds so copycat-ish)

5. Yina Loves Everyone? (HAHAHAHAHA!)

I like the second one - The Yina Show. Short and Sweet. Hehehehehehe. Welcome to The Yina Show! *applause*

Time for me to stop blogging.

Again. The SPM Season. Damn it.

I need to blog about my Deepavali 2006.

My Deepavali this year was well spent with the Boyfriend. He took a train from Singapore all the way to KL JUST TO MEET ME. I find it very sweet even though i was the one who pestered him to come and visit me in KL. Heh. =P Luckily he has his LimKokWing friends in Puchong, if not he'll be homeless. Thank God... and it was really a nice weekend with him in KL. Until today, i'm still smiling whenever i recall about his trip to KL. Thank you baby, for visiting me in KL. *huggles*

On Deepavali itself, we went to 1U. Can't help it, i was too bored with Sunway Pyramid. So we went to 1U. ;) Had lunch at Dragon-i. Deliciously good food. Famous for their xiao-long-bao. And their la-mien. We were so damn full after we walked out from the restaurant. However, we were satisfied. Ahh..... sheer bliss.

Dragon-i at One Utama. It's located at the New Wing.

Xiao-long-bao!!!!!!!! *drools*

La-mien + Xiao-long-bao = You.Are.In.Heaven.

His favourite. Longan with almond beancurd. Not my cuppa tea.

I love their fashion.

We were a bit hungry again. So i suggested gui-ling-gao. Damn nice. Heeeeee.

After lepak-ing around 1U for a while, we were thirsty and kinda sleepy. So we went to this HongKong cafe and ordered this YuanYang drink (coffee plus tea) to keep us awake. =)

After One Utama, his friends, Julia and KC picked us up and went to StarHill Gallery. I can proudly say that StarHill Gallery is one of the most expensive places in KL. If you don't have a few hundred bucks in your wallet, you can stop thinking about dining there. Talking about the high life..... *daydreaming*

A place for super rich people.

The walkway. Cute lanterns. Hehe.

I love this pic a lot. It's so indian-ish and middle-eastern-ish and arab-ish and turk-ish.

Cool-looking transparent chairs.

I was so happy to see this gigantic semi-white crab. Well, i'm also a crab myself! (hint: Cancerian) XD

Soooooooo nice right? reminds me of Halloween.. haha.

His LimKokWing friends - KC and Julia. Very very friendly people.

The Boyfriend.

Seriously, he's sweet. (:

I want the ceiling in my room to be like this!

We visited Louis Vuitton!! The biggest Louis Vuitton store in Malaysia.

After Starhill, we went for dinner at some HongKong cafe nearby. The desserts were good. Hehe. After dinner, we went bar-hopping. First, to No Black Tie. Second, to Frangipani. We had our drinks at Frangipani at the end of the day. :)

Frangipani. Heard that it's a gay bar. LOL.

It's nice to be a lady sometimes.... *grins*

All the pictures I've posted above basically wraps up the things i did on Deepavali 2006. I know it's uber late to be blogging bout Deepavali now...but who cares...I need to post up the pictures. Hehe. I guess i'm too free right now, that's why i'm blogging this to kill my free time. Ouch. Hmm...my bro just started his SPM today... ALL THE BEST DUDE! Do your best and make papa and mummy proud! Stop DOTA-ing!

Mind you, I've been a very very good girl at home recently. Didn't really go out (my close friends not in JB you see =( ). Just bumming around at home and trying my best to irritate everyone at home by talking senselessly and asking questions aimlessly. See? A professional rotter wannabe...

Holiday mood

Hello people! Been slacking and rotting my bones and flesh away since i came back from KL. It's good to be rotting again, seriously. XD Anyway, it has been exactly ONE week since i came back from KL. Everything's pretty much the same, just that my bro would be facing his super-duper important exam - the SPM on 15th November onwards... Everyone at home is nervous bout his SPM, i dunno why. Even i feel nervous bout it. Haha. It sucks when my bro needs TOTAL silence in the house. I can't talk/laugh/crap/joke/sneeze when he's studying. o.O

Damn it. I hope he finishes his SPM as soon as possible. But then again, his last paper is on the 4th or 5th of December........ oh man...

On a totally different note, I was in Singapore with the Boyfriend yesterday because he wanted to go to his school library. So yup, i accompanied him to the library and computer lab. He was supposed to submit his work yesterday before 6pm, so i was there...sitting beside him in the computer lab while watching him doing his architectural stuff. Chim stuff.

There...the Boyfriend doing his work. More like rushing... haha.

While he was doing his work, i was indulging in my iPod.

Me. Having nothing better to do... i was camwhoring. Wheeeeeee.

Camwhoring is fun! LOL

He looked so damn serious here right?

See? Still so serious...

I was happy coz I'm officially on holiday.

This was what he drew on the computer. Don't ask me what's that thingy.

Some interesting photos I took at home:

The fish which was about to be steamed by my mother. My bro decorated the fish. I guess he's too stressed up about SPM, that's why he decorated the poor fish.

The whole fish. Pretty fish? Nah... i think it looks like a clown. Clown fish. But nevertheless, it's delicious!! I LOVE STEAMED FISH!

p.s.: I can't wait for my woman to come back from KL...my women are all over the world. One in the United States, the other currently doing her internship in Shanghai. My only hope is to wait for the woman from KL to come back asap. Poor me...

First clubbing night in KL.

No, no... we din go to Zouk. We were just standing outside observing the crowd. -.- We were all underaged...below 21. How how sad...

We were at Maison. Me, Jien Ann, E-Jian and E-Jian's friend, Joy. =)

Again. The four of us.

With Kai. The guy who smiles a lot. Haha.

Jien Ann and I. My housemate. (:

E-Jian and I. My housemate as well. (:

I miss you guys.... =(

A reason for me to blog

Coz i've been tagged by Jien Ann! Haha... =) Ok... here goes...

AND...
a fifth one - Moulin Rouge (:

(only 3 places... *ahem*)

Four TV shows I love(d) to watch:

- Thailand (Bangkok, Chiang Mai)
- Indonesia (Bali, Jakarta, Bintan island)
- East Malaysia (Sabah, Sarawak)
- West Malaysia (Cameron Highlands, Penang, Kuantan, Terrenganu)
p.s.: I don't consider going to Singapore as a vacation as it's too common and normal for me to hop over there considering the fact that Singapore is only 15 minutes away from my house. So yeah, it's just Singapore.

Four of my favourite food:

The end of everything. But not me (touch wood)

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! I'm done with my 1st semester of Uni final exams. (: Time flies.... until now i still can't believe my eyes that i've actually finished my 1st semester of my communication degree. So damn fast... which makes it so damn freaky as well. *shudders*

Have LOTS to blog. When i mean LOTS, i seriously mean it. Just woke up from my nap, can't really think straight now so i guess i'll do some very serious blogging when i'm back at home in JB. I know i'm very free right now...but i just don't feel like doing anything. Not even packing. Yikes. I just wanna rot my time away... and waste more time.... and enjoy being a lazy bum once again.

*smiles*

One more thing that amazes me is the fact that all of a sudden, two of my housemates and I are pretty close. Maybe there's some kind of magic power that bonds us. Right, E jian and Jien Ann? =P But too bad, jien ann and I are moving out soon... so means we won't be housemates again. Pretty sad... but we'll still keep in touch with each other, dun worry. ;)

Just some random photos :

Was mugging damn hard for Contemporary Worlds II paper.

Fruitella blackcurrant flavour. Damn addictive coz it's chewy. I can finish one stick a day...for one whole week. Means 7 sticks in my stomach right now. Yum yum...

See? I still managed to smile and take self-portraits of myself when i was in the study room mugging my head off. I can actually still put on a decent smile on my face despite the pressure and stress around me. Cool...

Freedom from today onwards till end of February 2007. Please congratulate me. Wheee!
