surprise surprise

My new hairstyle. Some say i looked older, some say i looked wild. I don't care, at least i curled my hair at last! (:

Can leave a comment if you want, for the time being, i'm still very very exhausted after spending 3 days and 2 nights in Singapore. Will blog about the night at Ministry of Sound (MOS) and and... the overrated Great Singapore Sale (GSS) when i have the energy to do so. Heh.

I feel lazy. And boy, it's good to be feeling lazy right now. I seriously pity both my feet.

At the moment, just enjoy your time doing what you do best. ;)

half-dead brains

Just to let the whole world knows, my brains are actually very exhausted and the body needs to rest when it's only 11pm right now. Well, i was pretty much busy for the last few days since... *think* Wednesday. Yeap, Wednesday.

The GSS.
GSS, the short-form of Great Singapore Sale, nothing that great, nothing that fantastic though. But oh well, since most of the items (not the new arrivals though *sadface) are on SALE, women and girls literally go crazy over them. No worries, i'm still sane enough to blog. ;) Was in Singapore with the mother and sister on Wednesday. We parked the car in Orchard in the afternoon, shopped a bit at Wisma Atria, took MRT down to CityHall, had the Authentic Japanese Buffet i've been craving for at Suntec City (my so-called birthday present from the sister), and then shopped again at Suntec City.

The mother was the shopaholic of the day. Her purchases include a leather wallet, a pair of leather sandals, a pair of Giordano white bermudas and... i think there's more but i forgot. The sister bought a few items from G2000. I ended up with a pair of white bermudas from Giordano ONLY. All the pretty-looking clothes are off my budget. So too bad.... =/

However, the Authentic Japanese Buffet was AWESOME! Was so excited to eat SO MUCH FOOD at one go. Took A LOT OF FOOD and i still managed to finish everything (yes, i know i'm kiasu). A wide spread of sushi, fresh sashimi, snow crab legs, prawns, teppanyaki, lots of delicious japanese desserts, tempura, etc. Much much better than sakae sushi buffet. (: Too bad there were no pics(forgot to recharge the batteries for the camera). It was ladies' nite and thus the 3 ladies - The mother, the sister and I went for the buffet. The father didn't join us because he has to be in the office during the day.

Just spent more than 24 hours with my woman and the boys. I'm super exhausted. Will blog more about our gathering when i get hold of the photos first. Oh, i need to wake up early tomorrow because the parents are going to Singapore tomorrow. The father needs to meet his client, and the mother wants to go shopping (again). I HAVE to follow them because i'm alone at home (the sister is not at home). Oh well, no complaints, since i can go shopping at Orchard with the mother on a Sunday. ;)

I love spending time with the parents on Sunday. It feels a tad bit more special if you spend time with the family on Sunday. I dunno why, it just feels like that. Yes, you can see that i love them a lot. (:

Moral of the story:
Carlsberg + Dry Gin = Makes your brain slower by 70%.

P.S.: I seriously don't know what to do about us right now. It doesn't mean i'm happy if you see all the smileys in this blog. Singing my heart out to emo songs at RedBox this afternoon made me feel better somehow.

let the holidays begin

Finally, i'm back to the comfort zone (Johor Bahru) once again for one whole month of holidays. Seriously, 1 month of holidays is too short for me considering the fact that i have loads of things to do during this period of time. Oh well, hopefully i can squeeze everything in and make the best out of it. ;)

Things to do during my 1-month holidays:

1. SHOP!

2. EAT!

3. SPEND TIME WITH MY WOMAN WHO CAME BACK FROM THE STATES.

4. SPEND QUALITY TIME WITH THE FAMILY.

5. SPEND MORE TIME WITH THE BOYFRIEND.

6. ATTEND THE RAINFOREST WORLD MUSIC FESTIVAL IN KUCHING, SARAWAK.

7. EAT MORE!

8. SHOP MORE!

I don't know how am i gonna shop more considering the fact that i'm officially broke after the shopping spree in Midvalley yesterday. Bought a pair of skinny jeans, 2 gorgeous tops from Zara, a brown top from Dorothy Perkins, and a super-cheap Body Glove tee. Everything looked so tempting and delicious during this SALE season. At least i've got my skinny jeans at an affordable price. Heeeeeheeeee. It's good that i looked like i have a butt in the skinny jeans. =p

Singapore is also having their annual Great Singapore Sale!! See? How to resist all the shopping temptation right? Gosh, it's the time to shop till you drop (nearly dropped dead in Midvalley yesterday though). Heard from the mother that we're going out to Singapore to SHOP this Wednesday. (:

Life is good after the exams, do you agree? ;)

But still, i need more spare cash. *sadface

Retail therapy works. I am a happy little girl for now. (:

P.S.: For the people under the Australian education system, have fun and be safe during the holidays!

a tribute

To my beloved grandmother,

You've always been my favourite grandmother in this world. Seriously, it's just so hard to let you go. You know we love you a lot and you'll be deeply missed by each and everyone of us. Thank God you passed away peacefully, without any pain or fear. However, it is just too sudden for me to accept all this. But i will come to accept the truth eventually, with the passing of time. I'm so sorry if i cried too much during your funeral today, i'll be fine. Eventually. At least you're in a better place right now.

The memories i had with you will always remain deep down inside my heart. I'll never ever forget you. I'm so gonna miss your laughter, your voice, your touch, your face..... I MISS YOU AND I LOVE YOU SO MUCH. Thanks for being there for me when i was down, and i'm truly sorry if i were rude to you before. You've been a great grandmother. You looked so different lying down there inside the coffin, so fake yet so real, so sad yet so peaceful.......

Rest in peace, and I love you.

Your beloved granddaughter,
Yina.
