A great companion to the Lims.

The mother called me this morning to break the news to me.

"Yina, Tiger passed away... I just buried him."

He was a very smart labrador.
He was cute yet stubborn.
I'm gonna miss bathing him, feeding him and walking him.
Nothing last forever, and I know he's at a better place right now as I'm typing this.

The irony of life. How strange life is sometimes. The parents are getting a new dog (Miniature Pinscher) this coming weekend and Tiger just passed away this morning. o.O The timing of everything is pretty scary. Did Tiger feel neglected because we're getting a new puppy? Gosh...

Tiger, the black lab. You'll be deeply missed.

p.s.: I'm getting numbed to death these days. Nothing last forever, it's the truth we must always learn to accept.

101% addictive.

Damn freaking addictive Arnott's Raspberry Tartlets. Once you start, you can't stop!

Freaking yummilicious!

I actually consumed two whole packets within 2 nights while i was burning the midnight oil for one of the assignments. Yummmmmmmmm!

Will be busy to the max for the next two weeks. 2nd, 7th, and 12th May. -.- I guess this is the typical undergraduate life we're talking about. Super peak period. Bleh.

Was talking to the Lims (The father and mother back in JB, and the sister in the States) over skype just now and boy, I do miss them a lot. The father is still the same, always nagging us to eat healthily and updating us with the stuff back in Malaysia and Singapore. On the other hand, the mother is busy with her gym sessions and attending church masses with the father. The sister is busy partying over there in the States, with house parties one after another. The brother wasn't online, but i guess he's doing pretty good in KL.

Oh well, i do miss them a lot. =/ I'm pretty glad that the parents are coping pretty well with the empty-nest syndrome back at home. Teehee.

Enough of my random ramblings.

You know you love me,
XOXO.

It all started with a pair of wings.

Life is pretty hectic here recently in Gippyland, assignments coming in altogether as usual. What's new? -.-

It's really a vicious cycle I must say. But i guess i'm pretty used to it by now considering the fact that by the end of this semester, I would have completed Year 2! *gasp

Oh wells. Assignments are a fact of life. Or should I say university students are robots in disguise?

Since I just handed in one freaking major assignment which is worth a whooping 50% on Tuesday morning, I decided to let go, let my hair down and have some fun last night! And boy, it was pretty good. ;)

Spotted this tarzan on our way to the union lounge. Damn freaking hilarious la. The angmohs here really took the time and effort (and moolah) to dress up for this event.

Me, Sam, and Benny. My housemates who never fail to cheer me up. :)

Benny was transformed into Gandalf that very night. ;)

And Sam was WonderWoman that night! Woooo!

Grace was dressed up as a Hawaiian gal. Hehe.

Residents of West House 10 (where's Peter?).

This is Peter! One of my housemates as well... and he's an RA (Resident Advisor).

I was supposed to dress up as my favourite fairy - Tinkerbell. Haha!

Again, residents of West House 10. ;)

With Arjun! :) He was an elf and he looked REALLY like an elf last night. lol
Xin Yi, Hollie, Me.

Xin Yi and I. Teehee.
Girls only.

The fairy and the butterfly. That's Ivy. ;)
Selenge and I. :)

Mitchell and I.

After-party.
It was a blast I must say. There were people dressing up as pirates, fairies, teletubbies (yes, me no kidding), monkey, frog, tarzan, robbers, vodka cruiser bottles (it was hilarious!), superman, and even snow white!

Went back to my room as a happy Tinkerbell, only lacking the ability to fly. -.-
And now it's back to being a proper human being who needs to face the reality that she has 3 major assignments due in the next two weeks. =/

Oh how I wish i'm really a fairy...

And it all started with a pair of wings... ;)

Life's like this.

You'll learn one of the most important lessons in life if you were in my shoes...

You finally got to see the true colours of the people around you.

And...

You'll know who are really your true friends.

And how strange some people changed for the worst, rather than for the better. All we could do is to let them be and hopefully they know what are they doing.

Friends are like stars,
Not always seen,
But you'll definitely know,

They are always there for you.
:)

On to a happier note, there was a Bak Kut Teh session at my place two nights ago. Yuuummm.

Two pots of Bak Kut Teh, stir fry lamb and beef with onions, and stir fry lettuce.

Carebears Love.

Carebears brighten up my day. Soooooooooo cute!

Furry lil carebears. ;)

<3

I feel so happy clappy and lovey-dovey whenever I see my bed right now. :)

*Don't be so surprised that I'm still a very young girl at heart.*

Something additional in my room. Teehee.

And suddenly, reality hits me.

Tons of work piling up waiting for me to do.

One major assignment worth 50% which is due next Friday.

One proposal synopsis for Media Audiences which is due next Wednesday.

And with all the things that are happening around me... which makes me feel lost, upset, and disappointed. It's sad to know that the only thing which is certain in life is change.

=/

I guess my emo-ing period should stop right here and now. I can't afford to be emo right now as time waits for no man. Till then, I hope the world would change for the better, not for the worst. And of course, the people living in this world as well.

And now it's time for me to return to the real world.

Back from Perth.

From the moment I was away from your arms, I miss you like hell.

From the moment our lips met each other on the last day, I miss you like hell.

From the moment we said our ILoveYou's before bidding farewell, I miss you like hell.

From the moment your hand left my hand, I miss you like hell.

From the moment you touched my face on the last day, I miss you like hell.

From the moment you hugged me so tightly and never wanna let me go, I miss you like hell.

From the moment our eyes left each other, I miss you terribly, so so terribly that it actually hurts.

If the fairy godmother would grant me a wish right now, I would wish that I'm in his arms right now and we will never let each other go, not even for a second.

Yes, I seriously miss him. :(

*don't mind me emo-ing here, just let me do my thing

And guess what, I had one of the best holidays in my life ever in Perth with him! It's the company that matters, even though Perth is small and gets boring after a few days. =) I'm truly grateful that I went to Perth for my Easter Break. I'm truly satisfied that I spent quality time for two whole weeks with him.

Memories are so precious. I will definitely cherish them all and keep them in my heart as long as my heart is still beating.

Thanks for everything you did for me in Perth, baby.

Will gotta wait for a long time before i get all the hugs and kisses from him again. 22nd June, can't wait!

I love you and I miss you even more.

Two more days left in Perth.

Currently rotting in the Boyfriend's room right now because he's out for his lectures. =/ I'm still very much in love with the weather here in Perth, considering the fact that the people in Melbourne are freezing their butts off. Gee, suddenly Melbourne's weather sounds scary to me, with the windy and stormy conditions.

Hopefully the weather back in Melbourne won't be so back when I touch down on Sunday morning. *will keep my fingers crossed

Since I have nothing to do, there are a few photos out of the many thousand photos I took here in Perth. :)

At Fremantle.

Found this cute lil goblin. (:

Magnet shop. Tons of magnets.

At the pier.

Love the weather here. :)

Whee. He's back from class! Will update soon.

Don't miss me so much, people.
