Happy Birthday Everybody

Today is the 7th day of the Lunar New Year. According to the traditional Chinese beliefs, it is the day where everybody (yup, the young and old) celebrates their birthdays. Funny but true. That's why all the Chinese restaurants will be packed with Chinese wanting to celebrate their birthdays with 'yee sang'. Again, 'yee sang' is another delicacy for CNY where you'll have shredded raddish, pickled cucumber, crispy keropok, some colourful edible stuff and the famous raw fish slices. However, the tradition of 'lou sang' is only in S'pore and M'sia. China, Taiwan and Hong Kong don't do such a thing during CNY. Strange but true.

Nice to see, good to eat. *drools*

The action of 'lou sang' going on.

Having celebrated CNY for so many years ever since i was born, i've realized that when friends or relatives gathered together, gossiping is a must. Believe it or not, not only the women gossip among themselves, men gossip about literally everything under the moon too! Now, some of you may think what's with men and gossiping right? Once again, it's another strange-but-true fact of mine.

Hehe.

Wei Jian tagged me quite some time ago. Guess i'll do the 'top 5 weird habits of mine' in my next post. Been indulging in TOO MUCH food and new year cookies and ang pow-collecting for the last whole week. Not forgetting drowning myself with alcohol (but under parental supervision). XD Went swimming twice in one week. Did my laps. Felt rejuvenated again. =)

I think i should stop blogging now. Having stomach cramps. >.< "sometimes i really wish that i'm a guy and not a girl"

Since all (some) of us are still in the midst of feasting and celebrating the Year of the Dog, i shall wish everyone a HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR.

That's all for now, i better go....

*logging off*
