The year that was.
Again, I gotta emphasize on how quickly time flies. Today's the last day of 2008. 2008 has came and gone, just like that. As the saying goes, "time flies when you're having a good time". No doubt, I had the time of my life in 2008. :)I thank God for the opportunity to be able to be in Melbourne, Australia for 1 year. Gippsland, to be exact. And come to think of it right now, I didn't regret going to Gippsland at all. Even though it's far away from the city, I've gained other valuable and life experiences that not many people are able to achieve them. I've made some really close friends whom will be keeping in touch with for the rest of our lives. I've learnt who are my true friends. You know who you are. :)
I thank my parents for giving me the chance to further my studies in Australia as well. I promise I will work hard and earn big bucks after my graduation. I'm really grateful to be back here at home, as nothing beats having the chance to be at home and spend time with the family. :)
To cut the story short, I would like to thank 2008 for giving me the time of my life. I've travelled the most this year - Perth, Melbourne, Sydney. :) Am hoping to get back to down under for working purposes if possible. Shall keep my fingers crossed. (:
Till then, continue with the feasting and drinking for it's the time to welcome a brand new year!
Happy New Year, people! (:
