IN LESS THAN 24 HOURS. . .

To enhance my blog, to make it more interesting, to make it more appealing, i shall post some pictures about what i did during the last 24 hours. So just sit back and enjoy...

I consumed a whole big plate of dory fish and chips!!! My mum prepared this, all by herself. =) My bro and me had this for dinner last nite.

I'm finally done with this book after like...2 months?! *gasp*

"All endings are also beginnings. We just don't know it at the time..." This is the tale you will keep by your side when you are lost. This book... is a gift to the soul. =) (However, i still prefer Tuesdays with Morrie)

My bed!!! Spent most of my time here. Hehe! My bedsheet's nice rite? It's Warner Bros bedsheet!!

Home-made Ramlee Burger. Not that nice lar. haha.

The desktop in my house! Spent a lot of time facing this monitor too...even when i'm not bored.

Monday's papers, which is TODAY'S papers lar! I'm a 'THESTAR addict'. Weehee.

I still feel sleepy. >.< I MISS MY BED! I'm so gonna take a nap right now so that i have the energy to accompany my mum to pasar malam later. I know i've been sleeping wayyyyyyy too much since CNY but heck, I HAVE THE RIGHT TO DO THIS! IT'S MY HOLIDAYS NOW, so go ahead and be extremly jealous of me, people! You're most welcome to feel jealous about me. Lalalalala...!

To steal McD's most popular quote : I'm lovin' it.

Well said. XD

Gonna start on another book today. Got this book from my parents last year as my birthday gift. Well, actually i requested for it since they don't know what to buy for me. LOL. So yup, been waiting to read this book since last year... can't wait to lay my eyes on this book of mine man. Hehehe.

This book is about a Cambridge-educated female lawyer who doesn't know a single bit of house chores! Interesting!!

Time for me to zone out... Zzzzzz.... I know i'm behaving more and more like a pig but i just need to sleep! (hey! it rhymes!) Zzzzzzz......

*snoring away like a pig*

Randomness

Finally i have the mood/courage/motivation to blog again. Been spending time with my Tiger lately, giving him a good scrub once a week, comb his fur (and hair) daily for about 20 minutes to maintain a shiny and healthy coat, walk him every evening, bring him to the playground to enjoy the evening breeze, and i even bought a RED JUICY BEEF BONE FROM GIANT HYPERMARKET JUST FOR HIM!!! (am i too obsessed with this dog? i hope not)

*grins*

It's therapeutic to spend quality time with your beloved dog. Really. =) You will be far far away from your worries, silly thoughts, crappy thoughts and negative emotions. So yeah... go spend time with your dog at home if you have one. =) I'm a certified dog-lover. Hee.

this bone is made from REAL BEEF! TASTY!

The girl, the bone, and the labrador.

Tiger waiting patiently to taste the bone.

After several minutes, I decided to give the bone to tiger coz i wouldn't wanna torture him anymore by showing him the bone only. You know, like those 'JUST FOR DISPLAY' signs on the shelves in shopping centres? I don't like to make life difficult for people you see, including animals.

Tiger 'inspecting' the bone. Actually he's licking it.

He couldn't resist it...and so he BITE it.

*crunch* *crunch* *crunch* *yum* * yum*

*CRUNCH*

......
On a totally irrelevant note, my brother changed his specs! Well, he gotta change his specs coz his previous one was broken into 4 pieces while playing basketball. Boys at his age are always THIS clumsy and ignorant. Oh wait... all boys are clumsy anyway. They gotta admit it. Haha. Anyway, he chose a black and pink (YES! PINK! Yucky pink!) plastic frame specs from Focus Point at Holiday Plaza. Just take a look at the pics then you'll know what am i rambling about. XD

My bro's new specs. The frame is damn thick man.

He told us that he looks like some cartoon! XD Very cartoon indeed! Hehehe!

My turn to try out his new specs, but i think i look weird here. Agree?

I know what's the problem for me. The bloody frame is TOO BIG for my face!!!

I guess i look much better in my VERY OWN specs. I have plastic frame specs too! =P

Anyhow and anyway, it's time for me to take a shower and indulge in my magazine-reading. Finally bought the Seventeen March issue! Woooo hoooo!

I *heart* seventeen!

Parents going out for wedding dinner at Hyatt Regency tonight. Which means... only ME AND MY BROTHER having dinner at home. >.< I hope he will wash his own plate coz i won't lift a finger to help him do the dishes! HAh! Yes, call me a mean person. I don't care.

Till the next post... February is ending very very soon and March is approaching us. Cherish every single second you have at the moment without any regrets. Seize the day!

..........................

I.A.M.S.T.I.L.L.R.O.T.T.I.N.G.A.T.H.O.M.E...

I gotta proudly congratulate myself for being able to stand rotting at home for such a long period of time. Since 26th of November 2005 (last year!!) until now. Close to 3 months!! I know i'm good at rotting, thank you. But i'm getting sick of this rotting lifestyle of mine. >.< AHHHHHHHHHHH.....

Alright, from tomorrow onwards, i shall start to blog about some serious matters/current issues from my own point of view. Gotta start eliminating my crappy style of writing. Ugh! I shall try my best then but no promises. HAHA. =P

It's 9 minutes past midnight now. I should try sleeping since i always wake up so late the next morning. I seriously wanna wake up early so yup... please give me some luck. Till then, lights out!

V-day photos!!

On Valentine's day night itself...

we were at NYDC @ holland village having dinner!

Celebrating our love at NYDC. Cheers to us!

................................

The next morning after his test, we went for something special...=)

Our first time at Haagen-Dazs. Indescribable.

Had their Chocolate Fondue!!!

Chocolate lovers/addicts should try this. It's seriously good.

Irwin dipping his chocolate chip into that melted pot of choc.

Strawberry dipped in melted chocolate! Yummilicious! XD

Irwin trying to eat the plate.Nolar, he just wanna drink the melted ice-cream.=P

It's too delicious to resist. Licking up every bit of the chocolate.

My happy and satisfied smile. ;) Thanks baby!

That chocolate fondue treat at Haagen Dazs was a Valentine's Day gift from Irwin. XD I know it's expensive darling, don't worry, i'll treat u to something nice when i've found a job ok? ;) Hehehe. He bought me a stalk of rose too while we were walking around jurong east. XD Felt loved receiving a rose but i felt kinda out-of-place/strange holding a stalk of rose walking all over the place. At the beginning, i felt nice holding a stalk of rose walking coz i can get to erm... show off? Hehehe. =P But after a while, i felt kinda strange. Haha. But still, thanks a lot baby for that stalk of rose! *plants a kiss on his cheeks*

One more thing i noticed on V-day in S'pore : S'poreans celebrate V-day on a grand scale! You can see every woman on the street holding either a bouquet or stalk of roses, a heart-shaped balloon or a teddy bear. Maybe it's my first time spending V-day in S'pore that's why i'm quite shocked. Hah. Anyway and anyhow, i did enjoy my V-day celebration. Felt love once again. =) thanks a lot baby... for everything you've done for me.

I really love him. How true indeed.

=)

Again in S'pore

Yup, once again i'm using the broadband in S'pore to blog. By the way, i'm in S'pore Poly right now killing my time while waiting for irwin to finish his test. >.< It's like only 11am right now and yup it's damn freaking early for me to be so wide awake right now. GAH! Normally i'll only start to open my eyes at this time at home. So yup, this is a record for me considering i'm officially still on HOLIDAYS.

Spent V-day over here in S'pore yesterday. Was enjoyable, as expected. *grins* Reached jurong east mrt at 2.20pm and then went to post the documents to NTU by snail mail. SINGAPORE USES STICKER STAMPS!! I know i'm a bit suaku, but yes they use STICKER STAMPS over here! *opens eyes widely* Accompanied my baby for lunch at some japanese fast food outlet at jurong east, then walked around the mall. Nothing much besides the Fuji Ice Palace which is an ice-skating rink. I miss ice-skating!! After that he brought me to jalan-jalan at IMM. I seriously dunno what does IMM stands for. International Money-making Mall?

After IMM, we went back to bathe before we proceeded to Holland Village for our V-day dinner. *hearts* Both of us wanna eat at NYDC and thus we both had dinner at NYDC. One of my favourite restaurants in S'pore. *winks* I had their Three Amigos baked rice while irwin had their All American baked rice. It's superfantastically delicious ok!! Big portion though, i couldn't finish everything. Hehe. After that, we wanted to have chocolate fondue at Haagen Dazs but due to over-popular demand, they have NO MORE chocolate fondue!! What a letdown indeed! In the end we settled for ice-blended pure chocolate at coffee bean. >.< I STILL WANT MY CHOCOLATE FONDUE!!!!!!

It's 15 minutes past 11am now, still waiting for irwin to appear in front of me. He said he's bringing me for chocolate fondue later after his test. *drools* The thought of eating that chocolate fondue at Haagen Dazs can seriously make me drool right now. *licks own lips*

Going back to JB after my chocolate fondue. Haha. No choc fondue, no going back home man.=P

Alright. i think he's here already. ciao!

BOO!

Alrite, i know... i've been MIA for the past few days. It's all due to that piece of offer letter by Monash University. >.<>.<

Monash offered me the course that i've wanted and applied for - Bachelor of Communications (No, you don't have to give me a round of applause for that, thank you). Gonna send it the acceptance documents back to the university tomorrow morning by courier as the deadline is this friday. Yup, very fast. Commencement date is 20th feb (NEXT MONDAY!). Yup, very very fast! *faints* Fees are expensive. 12 bloody thousand ringgit for one semester!! That's why i'm gonna apply for that PTPTN loan which is an interest-free study loan for higher private tertiary education. Not sure whether i'm staying in Monash for good as i've already applied to NUS and NTU as well. Well, i shall take one step at a time and see how it goes... hmm...

I wouldn't wanna mention anything about the accommodation at sunway/monash as it is DAMN FREAKING EXPENSIVE!! Is it really that high-class over there that they have to charge RM530 per month per person for a bloody twin-sharing room? I really dunno... i really dunno. It's real freaky man. Now i'm starting to feel guilty if i'm really gonna study there for good as my parents gotta spend a lot just to settle for my accommodation. Yikes! >.<

Tomorrow's the day for celebrating love, honouring love and spending quality time with that special someone of yours (if you have) or with your loved ones (if you're bf/gf-less). And yup, my valentine's day celebration will be officially held in Singapore tomorrow! *grins*

Alright. Time for me to bathe. I seriously need a bath, that's why. Will be going to S'pore tomorrow after lunch and only be back on Wednesday. Hehe! Till then, i shall hereby wish all singles and couples a very very unforgettable and memorable Valentine's Day! It's time to celebrate in the name of love so go ahead and make love! Haha.

Happy Valentine's to all! =)

Sorry, i forgot to list down the names of the 5 ppl whom i want to do the quiz. Geez. Here's the name list :

- Irwin
- Koon Yang
- Wei Ling
- Selina
- Su Jun

Hope you peeps are as FREE as me. Haha. =)

The Weird Yina

I was tagged by Wei Jian quite some time ago. Since i have too much of free time right now, i shall do this for all of you people's pleasure. Enjoy. ;)

Below Are The Rules:
Rule 1: List 5 weird or random things about myself.
Rule 2: 5 people whom I want to do the quiz.
Rule 3: Next, leave a comment "you are tagged" on their blog and ask them to read your blog for rules.

1. I have a bit of the Obsessive Complusive Disorder (OCD). Obsessions are intrusive, irrational thoughts -- unwanted ideas or impulses that repeatedly well up in a person's mind. In my case, i will tend to worry whether everything is in place or not before i sleep or go out. Yes, EVERYTHING including my hair. Compulsions are repetitive rituals such as handwashing, counting, checking, hoarding, or arranging. An individual repeats these actions, perhaps feeling momentary relief, but without feeling satisfaction or a sense of completion. For me, i have to wash my mouth and hands after a meal even though they're not oily provided there's water for me to use lar. However, these small 'OCD' activities do not interfere with my life. So it's not a big deal after all. XD

2. I LOVE TO DRINK SOUP. Yes. SOUPS. All kinds of soups except for those bitter ginseng soup. Sometimes, when my mum din prepare any soup during dinner/lunch, i will go make myself a bowl of marmite soup. Yum yum yum! I prefer Bovril soup but my mum doesn't allow me to drink it. So yup, i've switched to drinking marmite. But then again, if i had a chance, i would buy Bovril! Haha. I also like to eat mee hoon soup, kuey teow soup, mee soup, 'lou shi fun' soup, maggi mee soup, TOM YAM SOUP, SHARKS FIN SOUP, and of coz... STEAMBOAT coz it's all about soup! XD Haha. Yes yes yes... now some of you will know that i'm a soup-drinker. *waves hand* It is a fact and i'm definitely proud of this soup-drinker identity of mine. XD

3. I hate eating bread for breakfast and fruits after dinner. I know it's the norm to be having bread for breakfast and fruits after dinner, but it is just not my cup of tea. I will eat bread unless i have no other choices e.g. staying in hostel or forced to eat bread at home. I would rather drink just plain water or cold milo for breakfast if you offer me a slice of bread (think gardenia). My ideal type of breakfast would be a bowl of century egg porridge, two half-boiled eggs, and a glass of iced milo. I tend to not eat fruits after dinner coz i think it may lead to indigestion. Haha. One should eat fruits before meals. It's healthier. Really.

4. I hate drinking milk. I only drink CHOCOLATE milk. Yeah, really. Drinking milk is like drinking someone's vomit. >.< Yucks! I hate full-cream milk powder especially. Can't imagine how i could stand the smell and taste of milk powder when i was an infant. Eeeewwww....

5. I can't do cursive-writing even if someone were to pay me RM10k for me to do so. I just can't! It's almost impossible for me to write in cursive coz since kindergarten i was trained to write in STRAIGHT handwriting. Sad but true. That's why i always admire those who can write in cursive. Sometimes i will force myself to write in cursive but still, it's like an impossible task. I suck real badly when it comes to cursive writing, like some five-year old kid learning how to write her name. That bad.

I hope the 5 weird facts about me are weird enough. Haha. I have some weirder ones but i guess it's for my own knowledge only. =P Guess that's all for this post of mine, i'm feeling grumpy and hungry at the same time. >.< Not enough food, too much of sleep!!!! Arrrgggggghh.......

i miss my baby a lot. *sniffs*

Happy Birthday Everybody

Today is the 7th day of the Lunar New Year. According to the traditional Chinese beliefs, it is the day where everybody (yup, the young and old) celebrates their birthdays. Funny but true. That's why all the Chinese restaurants will be packed with Chinese wanting to celebrate their birthdays with 'yee sang'. Again, 'yee sang' is another delicacy for CNY where you'll have shredded raddish, pickled cucumber, crispy keropok, some colourful edible stuff and the famous raw fish slices. However, the tradition of 'lou sang' is only in S'pore and M'sia. China, Taiwan and Hong Kong don't do such a thing during CNY. Strange but true.

Nice to see, good to eat. *drools*

The action of 'lou sang' going on.

Having celebrated CNY for so many years ever since i was born, i've realized that when friends or relatives gathered together, gossiping is a must. Believe it or not, not only the women gossip among themselves, men gossip about literally everything under the moon too! Now, some of you may think what's with men and gossiping right? Once again, it's another strange-but-true fact of mine.

Hehe.

Wei Jian tagged me quite some time ago. Guess i'll do the 'top 5 weird habits of mine' in my next post. Been indulging in TOO MUCH food and new year cookies and ang pow-collecting for the last whole week. Not forgetting drowning myself with alcohol (but under parental supervision). XD Went swimming twice in one week. Did my laps. Felt rejuvenated again. =)

I think i should stop blogging now. Having stomach cramps. >.< "sometimes i really wish that i'm a guy and not a girl"

Since all (some) of us are still in the midst of feasting and celebrating the Year of the Dog, i shall wish everyone a HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR.

That's all for now, i better go....

*logging off*
